BIG_Talk: Following Resurgent Pathways Through Indigenous-led Tourism and Arts

Join us Friday, May 15th, for a BIG_Lab Coffee Talk with Dr. Bobbie Chew Bigby, PhD, who brings a unique comparative perspective on Indigenous tourism models across Australia and the United States.

Dr. Bigby is an enrolled member of the Cherokee Nation and recently completed her PhD at Nulungu Research Institute, University of Notre Dame Australia. Her research explores how Indigenous-led tourism supports cultural resurgence, environmental connection, and community strength. She currently holds a postdoctoral fellowship with the University of Waterloo and teaches Oklahoma Native arts at NYU Tulsa.
