BIG_Review
The Borders in Globalization Review (BIG_Review) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that provides a forum for academic and creative explorations of borders. Through BIG_Review, we seek to advance high-quality and original works in the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences that examine borders in an increasingly globalized world. Inside each issue, you’ll find scholarship (academic articles, essays, research notes, and book/film reviews), policy work, and artwork (photography, painting, poetry, and short stories).

Vol. 7, No. 1
Vol. 7, Issue 1 of BIG_Review is now available.
This issue features the Special Section "Narrating Europe from the Borders: A Media Analysis of European Integration," guest edited by Birte Wassenberg and Pierrick Bruyas, with four research articles and a substantive introduction. The Portfolio showcases the work of Sámi artist Lena Stenberg, whose mixed-media montages blur past and present and document the historical displacement of the Sámi people across Nordic state borders.
The issue also includes three policy reports, border poetry, an urgent dispatch from Nicodème Emerusabe, and more.
